What can I expect? The massage occurs in a tranquil room on a cushioned table. Warm linens are used to cover the body. Only the area being serviced is exposed. Under garments are worn at all times during the full body massage.
Pressure: Massage techniques use a variety of applicable pressures. Mild and rhythmic touches calm the nervous system releasing tension in superficial muscles. Penetrating rubs on specific and problematic areas are administered as needed. A soothing and stress release lotion of natural aromatherapy herbs is applied.
Comfort: Massage works with the body's natural healing abilities. You should be comfortable and understand what you are experiencing during the session. Please report any discomfort or ask questions at any time.
Duration: Most deep sessions last an hour. A half hour of work on specific areas such as the back, neck or shoulders is effective for relieving tension or soothing overworked muscles. Ninety minute sessions are available by special request.
